Exciting News!

For almost two weeks now (twelve sleeps, precisely) I've been eagerly awaiting the publication of a piece that I wrote for Scary Mommy. As I understand it, it's scheduled to be posted on Friday, July 21, 2017, and I can hardly wait! 

As strange as this fact is, it will be the first blog post/publication that I've put out there aside from my author blog and published novels. In the future, I intend to write some short stories and send them out to magazines and blogs, but this is the first. Additionally, this is the only non-fiction piece that I've ever written (that wasn't part of a school assignment, back in the day). It was new and nerve-wracking, but I submitted it and, twelve sleeps ago, it was accepted. I'm thrilled!

Spoiler! It's a post about my oldest son, who is 8. I'll share the link here, once it's been posted.
